They’ve been dating for five months, and Tin wanted to celebrate somehow. Can was forever against Tin showering him with gifts, so he had to make do otherwise and settled for a nice evening in, just the both of them.
He had drawn a hot bath, filled it with the bubblebath he knew Can liked, and he was relaxed, lazily enjoying the warm water on his skin as he waited for Can to join him.
“Tin, what is this?” Can asked, holding up Tin’s new bathrobe. It was one of the good kind, all fluffy and warm and gigantic, made to absorb all water at once and not leave you vaguely wet and uncomfortable two minutes after putting it on. There was another one for Can in the closet, because while Can hated expensive gifts, once he tried Tin’s he was bound to steal it for himself. Tin knew his boyfriend, alright, and he had plans in place to keep what was his.
“It’s a bathrobe, Can,” Tin answered. “My bathrobe, if you want to be more accurate.”
Can petted the bathrobe as if it was Gucci. “It’s so soft, Tin. So soft.” His next words came out blurred, his face buried into the cloth making it impossible to understand.
“What did you say, love?”
‘If I jumped off a roof in this thing do you think I would float down?” Can repeated. He was serious.
“Why are you like this,” Tin said, closing his eyes and sighing. When he dared to look at Can again, he found his boyfriend naked, busy trying to put on the bathrobe.
“Come take a bath with me first, Cantaloupe,” Tin said.
Can looked up at that, a blush creeping up his face. Tin smirked and patted the water, and Can quickly took off the robe to join him.
“Hi,” said Tin once Can was settled against him.
“Hey yourself,” Can said. Tin felt him shudder againts him as he wrapped his arms around Can.
“Remind me to never leave you alone on any roofs,“ Tin whispered in Can’s ear before gently taking his earlobe between his teeth.
’’Alright,” said Can a little breathlessly. “Will do.”
“Can’t have you being all reckless all the time, can I?” Tin asked, knowing that Can was more focused on where Tin’s hand was going than on what he was saying.
“Will you take care of yourself for me, Can, if I’m not here?’’
’’But you’re here now…”
“I am. So what?” Tin stopped his hand above Can’s hip.
“Take care of me?” Can said in a low voice, and Tin was happy to oblige.
