Hi anon ! (youâre the second anon Iâve ever received, I love you <3)
I mixed two prompts for this, hope you donât mind! đ thanks for asking! đ
5)  ââare you seriously going to do it ?ââ â what do I have to lose?â
11) âif you do this, you understand youâll never be able to go home again, yes?â
ââ
âAre you seriously going to do it?â Can asks. Even through the phone, Tin can tell heâs worried, and a rush of fondness males him smile.
âWhat do I have to lose, Can?â Tin replies flatly. Itâs been a long time since he considered the people he lives with his family. He cannot lose something he doesnât have, and he knows heâs never had their love, or respect, or whatever could pass as familial affection.
âIf you do this, you understand youâll never be able to go home again, yes?â Can insists, and itâs touching that Can still thinks thereâs some hope left. To be fair, Tin has only told him about his brother. Thereâs things Can doesnât know yet, things Tin will probably tell him someday, but that he canât quite bring himself to face yet.
âCan, this house has not been home to me for a long time. This is not what a family is supposed to be, and now that Iâve seen yours, I canât bear the sight of mine anymore.â
Can stays silent for a moment, so Tin knows heâs carefully crafting his next words, reigning in his most impulsive words. He appreciates the effort.
âYouâre doing it now? Do you want me to come?â Can finally asks, and Tin grins.
âIâm putting my last bag into the car right now. Is it still okay if I come to your house?â
âYes, yes, of course, come right away, why do even need to ask?â Can nearly shouts into his ear, and Tin has to hold his phone at armâs length.
Tin takes a final look into his â former â room, making sure he hasnât forgotten any of the boxes he carefully put together earlier in the day. All the belongings he wants to keep are in his car, so he closes the door of what was his bedroom for the last time.
Half an hour later, Tin parks in front of Canâs house. Can, his sister and his mother are there, waiting for him on the sidewalk. Heâs not even all of the way out of the car when he gets an armful of Can, his boyfriend hugging him as hard as he can.
âWelcome home,â Can says.
