With all the bad news happening in the last few months surrounding our planet from climate change satellites deployment being halted and then ordered destroyed to the fact that we may have only a few decades to prevent total catastrophic collapse, we tend to miss the good things. So, here’s a list of some amazing victories.

– The Ozone will be completely healed by 2060.

– Biodegradable plastics are becoming popular.

– Solarpunk & Lunarpunk communities are thriving.

– Communities are starting to talk about climate change and adaptation and putting it into action.  transitionnetwork.org/

– Co-op’s are popping up for everything.

– Extinction Rebellion is calling for massive change to save our planet.

– Spain wants to cut 90% of carbon by 2050.

– Scotland’s Wind Turbines generated 98% of it’s energy demands.

–  We can sue the government over climate change.

– Elephants are adapting to poaching by not developing tusks.

This is just a small list of the amazing things we have done together as solarpunks, lunarpunks, and communities (not to mention the animals that are adapting). If I was to keep a log, I would be constantly adding new things to this list on a daily basis and wouldn’t be able to keep up with it all. No matter how dark and bleak our futures may seem, what’s a little darkness to Lunarpunks? We all can and will thrive. Don’t loose hope. Keep pushing for a better tomorrow and a better today. It can and it is slowly taking shape.

This the hardest nigga I ever seen this is true big dick energy

God got him

Wow

Found this short documentary from 2014 about him and his forest:

Soil erosion is still a problem but the authorities do not appear to be listening to Jadav’s suggestions on combating the issue, according to the programme. He would like to plant coconut trees because they grow extremely straight and help prevent erosion if planted densely enough. The fruit could also be sold for economic gain.

The man turned that barren land into a whole fucking forest by hand for them. Yet they show no interest in investing in its upkeep nor the desire for financial gain via the coconut industry. I just…🙄

Jesus please protect this man đź’ś
