Lets pretend everything after the Can – Pete scene never happened in Ep14– Pete is going to tell Tin all about the conversation with Can
– Can is going to deny everything
– he will however write Tin a letter in which he explains that Tin is not allowed to kiss anyone else because he already kissed Can and that’s just how it works okay and HE IS NOT JEALOUS

– when Tin asks him to be his boyfriend and he says yes he makes him say it in front of Pete and Ley but no, he is not possessive or anything STOP LAUGHING LEY!100% would read this and love it

Oh wow, Anon, this hits me right in the feels. But yeah, I can totally see this happening. At times, a quick dash of anxiety will hit Can, reminding him just how close he was to losing Tin permanently. And so what if some nights, he will hug Tin just a little bit tighter, burrow his lithe body in the heat of his lover’s warmth and kissed him senseless? Nobody has to know.
Nobody but him will ever know just how stupid he once was for letting fear and irrationality override him. How dangerously close he was to lose Tin’s love forever.

Headcanons are faster to write than fics! I’m happy to do this!
Tin is a better drinker than Can. He’s had practice. Not during his time in the UK, but as someone who will have to go to business parties. Tin’s father, despite the controversy his son is embroiled in, brings him into his office and teaches him about different kinds of liquor and wine and makes him try all of them. Teaches Tin how to find his limit.
Accordingly, Tin is never drunk in public. He’s always in control, sips on maybe one or two drinks over the night, and that is IT.
Tin gets drunk ONCE in private with Can. They celebrate their first year anniversary. They have a little too much wine with dinner and champagne with dessert.
Tin wakes up to a pounding headache and Can giggling over a video he took that night. Tin hears singing. Hears his voice singing. He demands Can delete it and Can says it is now his most precious thing in the world and he’s going to save it somewhere safe on the internet and on every hard drive he owns. Forever.
(Tin sang several love ballads while drunk that night and Can actually swooned. He keeps the video as a memory of that.)
CAN IS THE WORST DRUNK EVER.
If he whines a lot already, he’s worse when he’s drunk because Can has no filter. Once he starts dating Tin, Can waxes poetic about Tin whenever he gets drunk with the soccer team. All the seniors would tease him about it, but then Tin comes and picks up Can and glares at them all.
Can is also a very snuggly drunk. His hands wander everywhere and all he wants to do is be near a warm body and lean into it and complain about how life is hard.
This makes Tin very jealous which is why he hovers when Can goes out drinking. The minute he gets his report text from Good, Tin pulls Can off of the person he’s latched himself on to (now usually Good or Techno) and takes him home to sober up.
You know what I was thinking about? What would break Can’s heart. Not in bad way but still kill him every time. When Tin is surprised by the little things. When Can puts Tin first by worrying after him or spending time with him instead of his friends. Can’s heart would break because these small gestures shouldn’t be that big a deal but Tin acts like they’re the greatest thing Can’s ever done because no one has ever put Tin first. Sorry I just needed to share that ✌🏻

What Can sees as normal occurrences are total opposites for Tin. And Can’s heart breaks not only for this man who’s standing in front of him but also for the kid who has been neglected and abandoned for so many years by the same group of people who should have cared and loved him.
So he made a promise to himself. No matter what, he will always show his boyfriend that he loves and cares for him. Can might not have wealth and power in abundance but in whatever area he lacks, he makes up for it with attention and tender loving care.

Ae hisses in jealousy and at Can for bringing Tin cuz his bf and Tin are in a harmonious convo about one of their classes. Can simply shrugs at Ae with a smug expression and says, “Tin won’t take Pete. I’m hell sure of it. He won’t.” cuz he’s confident of Tin being head over heels with him, and he won’t let that change. ever. :)

Also, your HC reminds me of something. Can will never be afraid to be seen around campus with Tin. In fact, he will probably be the one to show his boyfriend off to anyone who makes a mistake of stopping to listen to his ramblings.
“Yes, P’ No, I will be there on time for the soccer match. My boyfriend will come along to support me, did I introduce you to Tin before? He’s the most amazing and bestest boyfriend ever and-” and it will go on and on and on. In fact, by now, Tin is used to being dragged around by Can just to be introduced to his boyfriend’s friends as ‘his darling bae’. Tin doesn’t mind one bit.
Who in your OTP asks the weird questions in the middle of the night and who hits the other in the face with a pillow
now that’s easy. firstly, tin would never ever hit can, not even with a pillow. so is probably tin that wake can up in the middle of the night to ask him things like “can, do you love me?” because he always needs this much of reassurance. the answer is a “im trying to sleep, ai asshole!” and a pillow hitting his face. but can would always cuddle him anyways and that’s enough for tin.
Okay, I like this, but consider the following.
Can wakes up Tin because his mind is buzzing with something he saw earlier that day during class or on TV and he’s just like, “Ai Tin, Ai Tin, Ai Tin, do you think it’s weird that ducks have corkscrew penises because the females have convoluted vaginas to prevent mating?” Tin wouldn’t hit Can, but he’d bury his head under the pillow and beg for death because his class is early in the morning and in English, please understand that Can.
Tin wakes up Can because he wants reassurance or he wants to banter because Can woke up him last night damn it and tonight he will have vengeance. “Can, Can, Can, do you love me?” WHAP! “Go the fuck to sleep!” “Can, Can, Can, your eyes are the color of chocolate and your skin is sweeter than candy.” “I swear to every deity out there Tin…” “Can, Can, Can, do you fall more in love with me every day? I fall more in love with you every day.” “Your face is about to fall onto my fist!”
I just watched the new ep and,, TinCan is the cutest! Every time Tin looked at Can he looked like he wanted to kiss him so bad. And now I’m just imagining the first time Can looks at Tin that way, like probably Can is walking around campus and happens to see Tin doing some essay on his laptop and he looks so out of this world that Can just want to kiss Tin’s jaw and the mole on his neck and his cheeks and bc it’s Can and sometimes he runs on pure instinct, he walks toward Tin,hugshimandkisseshim

I stan the day when Can will come to terms with his feelings. Also, considering how energetic he is and how much he relies on skinship to convey his emotions, I feel like he will soon swoop in to gift Tin with lotsa cuddles and kisses (no matter where they are).
I don’t think the drama will touch much on TinCan falling in love and being adorable with each other so I can only rely on the fandom’s fictions and headcanons. You guys better don’t stop anytime soon, okay? I need time to move on and I desperately need the support.
It happens on a Thursday of all days.
Can walks by the IC Building, grumbling because for all his demands about replying within an hour, sometimes Tin is incredibly shitty about replying to Can’s texts. So Can has taken it upon himself to find the asshole and drag him to that lunch he promised.
It’s a surprisingly comfortable day out and Can is not surprised to find Tin enjoying the fresh air, typing away at something.
He is surprised to find Tin’s collar a little undone and his tie a little loose. The sunlight peeking through the branches of the tree Tin sits under makes his highlights brighter and his eyes softer. Whatever Tin is staring at makes him smile softly suddenly and Can feels a surge of emotion overwhelm him.
It’s actually been days since Can saw Tin, since Tin asked him to have lunch and something seems to click into place. A feeling of the right thought at the right moment.
Can rushes forward and throws himself into Tin’s side. Tin seems defensive for a moment before he recognizes the mop of hair and puts his arm around Can.
“Oi, what’s this? You can’t be that excited to see me.”
Can doesn’t reply verbally first. Instead he presses a delicate kiss to Tin’s cheek. “But… I missed you, Ai Tin.”
Tin blinks in surprise. Can realizes how charming it is when Tin is thrown off his guard and swears to do it more often. He kisses Tin once more, aiming for the mole on his neck which makes Tin shiver.
“Did you get drunk? I have to work so hard to even get one proper kiss from you and now you’ve given me two.” Tin presses a hand to Can’s forehead. “Are you feeling okay?”
Can smacks Tin’s hand away. “If you don’t like it, I’ll stop.”
“NO!” Tin startles himself with his outburst before collecting himself. “I like it, I just-”
“I just realized that I honestly missed you, Ai Tin. I think… I think I really like you.”
A blush spreads across Tin’s cheeks and Can feels that delightfully charming feeling again spreading from his heart. He kisses the blush blooming on Tin’s cheeks and watches it darken.
“Stop that,” Tin mutters, feeling his face burn.
“You can dish it but you can’t take it hmm?”
“I’ll show you taking it.” Tin pulls Can in and kisses him on the lips. Despite the warmth coming from Tin’s face, Can can feel his own face heat up as well. “Now who’s blushing?”
“Both of us you dummy.”
Tin scrunches up his nose in distaste and Can laughs. Maybe this really will work out between them after all.
That headcanon about Can saying a lil pray was so cute im melting!!! Headcanon that Can says I love you without even thinking about it eg during breakfast, randomly in the store and Tin just melts. Also Tin calls him ‘baby’ when he does this
It says something about how domestic they are when Can realizes just how causal they are about affection these days.
Can almost ends all his sentences and questions and demands with, “Love you.”
“Can you pass the salt? Thanks, love you.”
“Buy me some skewers pleaaaase? I loooooveeee youuuuuu.”
“You bought me WHAT?! I told you not to! Ugh…I love you, Tin.”
“Here’s your breakfast, love you.”
“Thanks for lunch, love you.”
Tin’s expression never ceases to soften whenever Can does it. And Can likes that expression, the one that says that Tin is hopelessly in love and Can knows that his face shows the same.
Tin, on the other hand, has found it hard to say, “I love you,” with the astounding frequency that Can does. But Can knows Tin’s pet names are the same thing.
“Here’s your breakfast, baby.”
“Thank you, sweetie.”
“You monkey… You played well today.”
“Baby, come here, it’ll be ok.”
“Can, honey, please stop that.”
The language of love needs only intent for those who truly know each other. The words are just extra.
A++++ headcanon that we’ve over here. I imagine that they will still do this even when they’re mad at each other . Because it doesn’t even matter if Can is mad or frustrated or annoyed
at Tin, he will never ever not say ‘I love you’. Urgh too much feels, please stahp this pain.
