When Ae/Pete and Tin/Can go on their first double date, Pete is afraid to go to the bathroom and leave them alone. Can doesn’t even notice the tension because he’s too busy eating and talking to Ae who is only half listening.
Tin offers to pay for the whole table. Pete and Can don’t care (Can’s still not over the novelty of Tin paying for all his things so he’s happy about it) but it pisses off Ae because he thinks it’s a jab about how he can’t take care of Pete, and he’s right. Tin knows exactly which buttons to press on to piss him off.
While they’re arguing about it, Pete quietly gets up and goes to pay the bill at the front because he wants to get them away from each other as soon as possible.
Tin has to learn to hold his tongue about Ae in front of Can, because if Pete won’t take it, Can definitely won’t. He learns his lesson after Can freezes him out in the bedroom for three days when he makes a comment about how Ae is using Pete.
They only come to an understanding when Pete gets in trouble with Trump again. Ae finds pictures of Pete’s apartment on his phone, sent from an unknown number. He manages to get it out of Pete that he thinks Trump sent them. He knows he can’t take care of it himself so he goes to Tin, even if it costs him his pride. He doesn’t care, as long as he can keep Pete safe.
Tin doesn’t want to help Ae, but it’s not about him, it’s about Pete. He manages to track him down within a few days and he tells Ae when he does, before he tells the police. He sees just how much Ae loves Pete on that day, and it impresses him. Not that he’d ever tell him that to his face.
Pete never finds out about what they did.
They don’t like each other after that, but they tolerate each other.
Why not? I think that’s the question a lot of people should ask themselves. 🙈🙈
To me, despite his hardened unwelcoming exterior, I do believe he’s the kind of person who will unconsciously and intuitively seek out touches or affection from the people he’s closed with. Especially when that person is his lover. He will probably demand cuddles after a vigorous night of sex or a kiss of affection in the morning. To outsiders, they might see Tin as this badass who can survive as a lone island but to Can, he’s one of the most affectionate, lovable people he has ever encountered in his life.
Also, just like Jake Peralta once said, who doesn’t want to be a little spoon? It makes one feel safe.

tin loves to call can cantaloupe, but he only does it when they’re alone or surrounded by can’s family. he hates the idea that of one of can’s friends will use his nickname for can. it belongs only to him and can’s family – no one else is allowed.
can’s mom is the only female aside his own mother that tin refers to as mom (remember that in thailand, they usually calls their friends’ parents ‘mom’ or ‘dad’) obviously can’s mom tells him to call her ‘ma’ tho.
when tin wants to tease can around his friends, tin says out loud: ‘hmmm today i woke up craving cantaloupe’. can’s friends think his bf has a weird fixation on cantaloupes for the amount of craving he has.
can’s ma basically adopts tin when they go official – can totally tells his mom how terrible tin’s family is and she decides that she got another kid. she moms tin and tin loves the attention. can grumbles about it, but love to watch his ma interacting with tin. can absolutely adores the soft expression tin has got on his face every time can’s ma acts like a ma with him.
the worst combination ever is tin and lemon. they’re absolutely the worst and can wants to murder them when they sit around and swap their ridiculous can stories.
can’s line profile picture is tin kissing gucci meanwhile tin’s is can sitting beside him with tin’s arm around his shoulder and nong phu at their feet playing with gucci. (look at our idea @biadamparrishs)
everyone is expecting can to not hang out home a lot after he starts dating tin, however – to everyone’s surprise – tin loves to hang out at can’s family home, so they spend at least one day per week hanging around. usually they watch tv with can’s ma, help her cook dinner and then walk gucci around the block before it’s start getting dark. even after can moves out to live with tin in their own home, they find time to spend time over ma’s home.
when tin decides to propose, he takes can’s ma to buy the ring with him. she also helps him to set up the place he’ll propose.
