LBC – Something Silly (TinCan*)Â
Can was no one to suffer silently. And Tin was thankful for it. With Can you didnât have to deal with passive-aggressive treatment or devious methods. He complained loud and with frequency and if he wasnât doing that you just have to give him Gucci. Can was known to dump all his problems on the poor dog.
He even lounged on the sofa in a dramatic fashion, arms and legs dangling while he sighed every few minutes.
That was why Tin wasnât really sure what he walked in on as he stepped out into the garden. Can was kneeling in front of a huge bowl and threw chillies and salt in it.
Tin chewed on some pineapple cookies ma bought specifically for him and watched his boyfriend. He exchanged a look with Gucci who laid on the grass a few meters away from the spectacle. The dog yawned as if this was a familiar sight.
The moment Can lit up some dried grass Tin had the feeling he had to interfere.
âWhat are you doing?â, he asked, squatted down and put his chin on Canâs shoulder to look at the burning grass in the bowl. It stank.
âI curse the team we have to play against tomorrow,â Can answered as if that was a sane response.
âI curse them with dizziness, loss of leg power and no sense of orientation.â
âThat isâŠâ, not very mean, Tin wanted to say but shut his mouth. He loved that Can was just not able to be cruel.
âDo you do that often?â, he asked and felt the sudden freezing of Canâs body. Can swallowed and gave him a look out of the corner of his eyes.
âYou never have gotten caries in the last month, right?â
Tin frowned.
âNo?â
âOh good, then you donât have to worry about anything.â
âWhy? Wait⊠what?â

âCanâŠâ No reaction.
âCanâŠâ The person, hiding under a blanket, moved further away.
âCantaloupe.â
âI told you not to call me that!â Canâs face was red from anger and hiding under the blanket. His hair was fluffed up and Tinâs smirk changed to a soft smile, because disheveled Can was his favorite Can.
Can threw a pillow at him and Tin tried to hide how pleased he was.
âI am so sorry,â he said and moved closer to Can. His bed wasnât really that big, nevertheless Can had managed to put as much space as possible between them.
âYou canât be that embarrassed.â
Can huffed and boxed him, but didnât struggle against the arms embracing him. Tin nuzzled one side of his face.
âI am really sorry,â he murmured but Can huffed again.
âCantaloupe,â he mouthed at the sensitive skin behind Canâs ear and hid another pleased smile when he noticed Can suppressing an aroused sigh.
âWhy are you two always doing that?â, Can complained but leaned heavier on Tin.
âI think they are cute.â
âBaby photos arenât cute. You shouldnât enable my mum like that.âTin nodded, because he already had made photos of his favourite childhood pictures of Can. And he knew that Can would never really put a stop to their interactions because he knew how much Tin graved a mother figure in his life.
âCantaloupe,â he whispered again and pouted as Can shook his head vehemently.
âNo! My sister can probably hear us. She will try to make photos of us. Again.â
âI could show her the oneâs from last weekend – ouch!â
