Rich boys have no chill PREVIEW 3

This will probably be the last preview before I finish the fic and post it in full. Hopefully I finish it by the end of today or tomorrow!

“Why, Wayo Panitchayasawad, I’m not entirely heartless.”

Pete took a dainty sip of his daiquiri. “Not heartless but heart aching.”

Ming paused mid-swig of his scotch. “Did Ai Pete just-”

“I’m not having heartache,” Tin said glaring down Pete from across the table. Pete took another dainty sip. “I’m having trouble wooing him, that’s an entirely other problem.”

“At least you’re the same age. I can’t just treat P’Arthit to anything and everything, he’d think I was treating him like someone beneath me,” Kongpob muttered as he downed a quarter of his beer. “And he likes robots. I just want to buy P’ a robot and some pink milk and watch him be happy.”

“P’Arthit likes pink milk?! You have excellent taste, Kong,” Yo said while happily grabbing the next glass offered to him. “You hold on tight to that one.”

“Just not as tight as Ai Yo. You’ve been holding on to P’Pha for five years,” said Ming. “You’re like a koala bear that has clung to the same tree for all its life!”

“That’s different! We didn’t even get together until recently!” Yo nearly slammed his glass down. “Look at you mooning over P’Kit!”

“P’KitKat is the cutest!” Ming’s eyes sparkled and Yo groaned into his glass. “He has dimples and his face is bright and lovely like the moon!”

“Ming is also like the moon,” Tin teased. “Your brain is filled with holes. You’re a perfect match.”

“Oi Ai Tin! P’KitKat is so much better than your Cantaloupe! He’s cuter in every way!”

“You’ve never even seen Cantaloupe?! He is the cutest stupid. Unlike you who is just stupid!”

“Who calls his potential boyfriend stupid?!”

“Doesn’t Khun Kit call you stupid?”

“Damn, Tin went for the kill,” Yo muttered.

“P’KIIIIT,” Ming wailed. “ACCEPT ME, P’KIT!”

“Mingkwan! Keep your damn voice down!” Tin whipped his cloth napkin at Ming’s face to get him to stop wailing. “How many times do I have to remind you to use your inside voice?”

“He’s getting drunk, Tin. He doesn’t have an inside voice,” Kongpob mumbled into his glass.

Pete looked at the glasses that had slowly been amassing during their conversation and banter. There were a lot more glasses than he remembered. Pete had never been much of a drinker so as the rest of the boys continued to down top-shelf scotch like water and wailed about boys, Pete hit the record button on his phone.

“He’s just so stubborn…” Tin was actually pouting. “I just want to buy him things. Why won’t he let me buy him things?”

“P’Arthit is the same!” Kongpob frowned. “He didn’t even like me ironing his clothes for him!”

“You actually know how to iron clothes?” Yo asked.

“Shouldn’t you be learning so you can be a good little husband for P’Pha?” Kongpob was smiling widely.

“I’m not little! I’m 178 cm!”

“I still think your father paid the doctors to lie to you,” Tin said.

“You’re the only one here who only knows how to pay people off!”

Tin groaned and ignored the insult, collapsing and resting his forehead on his arms. The waiter placed his next drink within reach anyway. “It’s how my family shows affection.”

“Buying people off?” Ming asked, cocktail stick with several cherries on it hanging off his mouth. Ming had recently moved on to drinking Old Fashioneds instead of straight scotch.

“No, buying.”

“Ahh… that is a problem.”

“Oh, now this is juicy!” Ming shook Pete and Yo a little which prompted Pete to gently push his arm off with a tight smile and Yo to scowl before pointing at an empty table for them to all sit around. “So did they accept?” Ming asked as he practically fell into his seat. “My P’Kit won’t even take my cheap chocolates! He keeps complaining it will make him fat, but he was cute like that before too so I don’t think it’ll matter.”

Tin waved a waiter over. They were going to need drinks if this was going to get any further.

“Scotch. The best one you have. On the rocks. I’ll tip you 2000 baht if you get it here within 30 seconds.”

The waiter nodded furiously but was stopped by Yo.

“Same.”

“No pink milk?” Ming teased.

“If I have to hear you talk about P’Kit like this in front of everyone else, I’m drinking for real.”

“Oh, one for me too then! I’m not getting out done by you, E’Yo!”

“Just a beer for me,” Kongpob added. “Someone has to be reasonable.”

“Strawberry daiquiri,” Pete said with a smile. “Virgin.”

Tin snorted. “You’re not one anymore. Get the actual liquor in it.”

Pete turned as red as the drink he had just ordered and everyone else at the table laughed. “Ai Tin!” Pete threw the napkin near him at Tin’s face. “Fine, with the alcohol in it please.”

“Is your Ae going to be okay with that?”

Pete bit his lip. “I’m not driving home tonight and what Ae doesn’t know won’t hurt him.”

“Are you actually giving Ai Tin ammunition?” Kongpob’s expression was far too amused.

Pete sniffed before taking a sip of his water. “I have plenty of ammunition on him right now anyway and his Cantaloupe.”

“His name is Cantaloupe?” Kongpob wasn’t laughing, but his eyes were. “Is he in the IC program with you?”

Tin scowled and turned away. “He’s a Thai Program Sports Science major.”

“What happened to, ‘I’ll never trust poor people again.’ What happened to, ‘Love and trust are garbage.’” Yo leaned forward. “Doesn’t sound like the Tin Medthanan I know.”

Spots of color rose on Tin’s cheeks and he just barely restrained himself from lunging at the waiter running with their tray full of drinks. “Can is… different.” All of them threw a ridiculous number of 1000 baht bills at the waiter who looked close to tears  “Keep the drinks coming every twenty minutes and we’ll tip you some more.”

“Oi, not all of us can spend 2000 baht a drink,” Kongpob complained.

“What’s the matter? Did Khun Suthiluck cut your allowance or did you spend it on P’Arthit?” Tin teased back.

Kongpob frowned before pulling out a platinum card. Immediately all the other boys except Pete, who insisted he’d be fine with the one drink, did the same before putting it on the waiter’s tray. The waiter looked as if he’d died and gone to heaven.

“Proper drinks every ten minutes,” Kongpob instructed. “And I want a scotch next time too please.”

“And if they’re at all watered down I’ll make sure you never get another tip again,” Tin said with a glare.

For @andwebegin because ❤

Tin sat at his table and considered his current problems with Can. Or rather, his problems in wooing Can. The straightforward and blunt boy was surprisingly difficult. Gifts were turned away, Tin was ignored when food was put on the table, and his manners were awful.

And yet… That cheeky little smile had Tin tripping over himself these days. Or perhaps it was the lips that formed that smile…

Regardless, Tin considered getting help. Tactical help. Even if they weren’t close friends, all children of rich and influential families had some awareness of each other. The networking of their family and family friends could not be avoided. There was also a group chat for a few of them, but Tin had that on mute. Tin didn’t like or trust many of them, but they weren’t completely awful to get coffee with on the weekends.

Pete was already useless, sitting two chairs to Tin’s right, giggling at his phone. Thanks to Ae, Pete had been a hopeless conversational partner all night. Even then, Tin normally hated to ask anyone for help. But stuck at a charity gala with some of his other rich peers, the youngest Medthanan figured he might as well chat. Well, he’d use the term parley if he had to speak to the Panitchayasawad heir.

Yo was such One Piece nerd. But at least, in their youth anyway, they had agreed on literature.

So even though the Medthanans and Suthilucks were in vastly different fields (real estate vs plastics), Kongpob was the least annoying. Tin didn’t even want to humor talking to the young Daichapanya.

He’d really rather debate if Naruto would beat Luffy with Yo again than hear Ming talk about Kit Kats all night.

“Kong. It’s been a while.” Tin tilted his head and Kongpob smiled.

“Oh, Ai Tin. How’s LBC University?”

“You’d know if you had decided to go yourself instead of enrolling at GM University for Engineering.” Tin leaned against the wall and Kongpob followed suit next to him. “All for that Engineering student you met.”

“P’Arthit is very kind, Ai Tin. And the program itself is very good. I can always go to LBC for my Masters anyway.” Kongpob shrugged. “But you didn’t come here to talk to me just for fun, did you?”

“Why Ai Kong, I am hurt!” Tin widened his eyes and put a hand to his chest. “It’s been months since the last soiree our parents have forced us to. And you’re clearly my favorite amongst our associates.”

Kongpob smiled again, a cheeky thing which was disappointingly nothing like Can’s cheeky grin. “Ai Pete is your favorite.”

Tin rolled his eyes. “Fine, you’re second.”

“As long as we’re being honest.”

“If we’re being honest, then how is your pursuit of ‘P’Arthit?’”

This time Kongpob frowned. “P’Arthit is… a challenge. He’s very tough on the outside and surprisingly soft on the inside. But I got his attention.”

That got Tin’s attention. “How did you do it?”

Kongpob looked to the side sheepishly. “I told him I’d make him my wife.”

It was the worst time to drop that line as Pete had come with Yo to see what all the fuss was about. Pete did a spit take and Yo made a face.

“Your wife?!” Yo scrunched up his nose which did nothing to detract from how cute he was. “How are you so cheesy?”

Pete wiped at his mouth with a napkin before adding, “I think Ai Kong didn’t mean it that way…”

“What other meaning is there, Ai Pete? Ai Kong is going for it!” Ming said as he threw his arms around Wayo and Pete. It was slightly comical as Wayo was the shortest amongst them, even if he wasn’t that short. “Ai Kong, did it work?!”

Tin pinched the bridge of his nose. His small hope of having a quiet conversation was suddenly dashed. “Mingkwan, keep your voice down.”

Ming pouted. “Na Ai Tin, you always sound like you’re scolding me.”

“I am scolding you.”

SOTUS FAKE SUB: In which Arthit’s crush is the worst kept secret in the university. (x)

@andwebegin

Bright lazily watches as Arthit lectures the freshmen. Toota stands next to him and Bright doesn’t have to look to know his fingers are twitching for something to do.

Suddenly Arthit shouts, “STUDENT NUMBER 0062!” Although they aren’t being lectured, Bright and Toota snap back into attention. “Why do you always act like a hero?!”

“P’Arthit, I’m not trying to save everyone. I’m trying to save you.”

“And what will you save me from?” Arthit stands in Kongpob’s face, refusing to back down despite the few inches difference in their height. It reminds Bright of a small dog barking louder to seem bigger.

Kongpob’s smile is ridiculously smug and cheeky. “High blood pressure.”

“KONGPOB!”

Arthit’s shouting continues as Bright leans over towards Toota. “So is this thing between Arthit and that Kongpob kid supposed to be a secret?”

Toota snorts. “Pfft, hardly.” Arthit’s voice starts rising even higher. Kongpob’s face is entirely too amused and besotted for the verbal lashing he’s getting. “The only people who don’t know Arthit loves Kongpob and vice versa are Arthit and Kongpob.”

“STUDENT NUMBER 0062, GO RUN 20 LAPS!” Arthit stands back as Kongpob double checks his laces, his eyes obviously tracing Kongpob’s form before the younger boy leaves to start his laps.

“How much do you want to bet they’ll get together before the end of this year?” Bright whispers.

“I’ll bet you 500 baht they get together in two months.”

“Pft, I’ll bet three weeks.”

“You’re both idiots,” Prem says as he walks behind them. “They’re both particularly stupid. I’ll give them right up until the end of the year.”

“You really have no room to talk. Sort out your issues first before you bet on other people.” Knot rolls his shoulders despite Prem’s squawking. “Six hundred baht it happens in two weeks,” Knot says as he leaves as well.

Toota starts typing everyone’s bets into his phone. He has a feeling he’s going to be rich.

Reblog because as anon said, I fucked up Kongpob’s student number! Oops!

SOTUS FAKE SUB: I proposed on his Graduation Day and he said yes. (x)

@andwebegin

“Thank you for agreeing to our request for an interview P’Arthit, P’Kongpob,” the freshman says while she offers a wai. “Especially with your busy schedules. My name is Elle.”

Kongpob smiles. “We are your seniors. Something this small for your class project is no problem, N’Elle.”

“I was going to see this one today anyway,” Arthit grumbles, nudging Kongpob with his elbow. Kongpob only smiles indulgently as Arthit’s elbow digs into his side. “So please, don’t worry about it, N’Elle.”

“R-Right then.” Elle presses a button and the recording starts on her phone. “Now, please introduce yourselves for the recording.”

“Hello, I am Kongpob Suthiluck.” Kongpob’s smile grows wider. “And this is my ex-boyfriend, Arthit.”

Arthit’s face turns pink before he shoves Kongpob nearly off his stool. “You’ve got to stop introducing me like that!” Arthit takes a moment to compose himself and straighten his shirt despite it not being a video recording. “Hello, I am Arthit Rojnapat. And I’m his husband.”

“Oh!” Elle offers an excited round of applause. “Congratulations P’s! When did you propose? When did you get married?”

Kongpob starts to speak, but Arthit cuts him off again with another jab to his ribs and a glare. Kongpob pouts and rubs the sore spot on his ribs while Arthit talks. “I proposed on his Graduation Day and he said yes.” Arthit actually smiles, a small soft, and precious one. It calms Elle’s gitters over the whole interview. “We got married after he passed his probation period at his job.”

“Wow!”

“And yet, Ai’Oon still smiles so nicely when he talks about our wedding,” Kongpob teases. Elle wonders if Arthit will hit him again. “I remember how he cried the most when we said our vows.”

This time Kongpob does fall off his stool. Elle makes a note to cut Arthit’s swearing out of the transcript later.

SOTUS FAKE SUB: Basically A Summary Of Their Relationship (x)

@andwebegin

“Na Ai’Oon,” Kongpob says in his softest and cutest tone. Arthit ignores the flutter in his chest that still happens whenever Kongpob says his name that way. “Can you sleep over tonight?”

“Oi, Kongpob! I slept over last night!” Arthit successfully avoids blushing over remembering what happened last night. “And I could barely stay awake in class today. No way am I staying over tonight!”

“Naaa, please? For me?” Kongpob adds just the right bit of pleading to his voice to make Arthit waver. Like always. Damn him. Kongpob also doubles down by wrapping his arms around Arthit’s waist and resting his chin on Arthit’s shoulder.

“Don’t do that,” Arthit says, looking to the side.

“Do what?” Arthit refuses to look because he knows Kongpob has schooled his face into the picture of innocence.

“You think whenever you say, ‘Please, for me,’ that I’ll just do whatever you want. Well, not this time!” Arthit stomps his foot. “I’m sleeping in my dorm room tonight.”

Kongpob pulls Arthit even closer, his smile curls up at the ends, more endearing, cute, and cat like. “Please, for me?”

With Kongpob’s warmth and smell and sunny smile, Arthit feels his resistance crumble. He curses his weakness even as he shyly says, “Fine.”

Kongpob’s smile brightens even more. “Thank you, Ai’Oon,” Kongpob whispers into Arthit’s ear. “I’ll make sure you sleep well and wake up on time in the morning.”

“Like hell you will!” Arthit storms off. “And I want two pink milks tonight with dinner!”

Kongpob sighs and watches his boyfriend storm off to class, scaring a small group of freshmen standing in his way. An extra cup of pink milk is a small price Kongpob would gladly pay to have his boyfriend stay the night again.

Re. the Off kiss discourse: Of all the BL kisses you’ve seen, which actors do you think are the best at it/most confident with their kissing skills? I’m thinking Max/Tul are definitely up there, along with singto and krist, and saint and perth but I’d love to hear your ranking (feel free to use gif evidence XD )

ctl-yuejie:

ahahaha….I haven’t seen all there is but I’ll happily rate the kisses that come to my mind 💕 (not all are technical BL (???) but that’s a talk for another time)

I don’t have a real ranking but this might be closest to it (I only use my own gifs, I hope that’s okay – I’m too lazy to dig for more 😂):

Top

Xia Yu Hao / Qiu Zi Xuan – Crossing the Line

image

– really good chemistry with a lot of sexual tension – timing of kisses is perfect – variety of kisses – both actors look like they’re great at kissing in general and into it –

Gi Tae / Chi Soo  – Long Time No See

image

– (I know I repeat myself) really good chemistry – perfect timing of kisses – variety of kisses (see gif) – good sense of intimacy

How to get someone’s phonenumber 101:

Ming: Pretend you lost your phone and use your future wife’s phone to “find” it. 10/10 great moon pictures.

Tin: Just buy him a fucking new phone and make him chance his number – but remember to save his number before handing the new phone to him.

Both are particular levels of extra, but you know, whatever works for you Ming and Tin.

#reblog#TinCan#MingKit#I’m so done with the parellels#They should do a double date someday

OK But hear me out @andwebegin

What if they’re from rival universities and Tin and Pete would know Wayo at least as another rich kid cause most of these influential families know each other. So since Yo and Ming are BFFLs, he’s… met Ming. (I forget if Ming is also supposed to be from an affluent family.)

And really Ming starts posting on FB about his, “Absolutely adorable and sweet Kit-Kat! No one can beat him!”

And Tin is amused and knows how extra Ming can be (but is completely unaware of how extra he is some times), so he teases him by saying, “But you haven’t met my Cantaloupe, so soft and sweet.”

They banter for WEEKS until they decide on a double date and both Kit and Can are like, “WHY ARE YOU TWO BEING LIKE THIS?” Because the minute they meet up, it’s a competition of who’s better than who.

Kit and Can just stand to the side talking about how their boyfriends are too extra and then they eat all the noodles at the noodle shop together.

May I add Ai’Ae and P’Pha to the mix?

Listen: TinCan and MingKit are on their doubledate and then they meet AePete on their own date and they decide to make it a third-wheel-date. They hang out and have fun but then they decide to meet up with PhaWayo and oh boy do things go off, because first P’Pha asks who the wife is and assumes it’s ‘the shortie’ (Ae).

Then P’Pha and Ai’Ae stare at each others and start to argue whose wife is the cutest.

“Clearly Wayo is the cutest, he loves pink milk like a child. Isn’t that the cutest?”

“That’s where you are wrong buddy! Pete’s cheek are so soft and I want to squeeze them all the time!” Ai’Ae tries to stand all tall-and-mighty but compared to P’Pha he is a shrimp.

“Wait! Your wife’s cheeks are also soft and squeezable?” After P’Pha said this, both him and Ai’Ae become the best buds talking how they want to marry their wife’s and how adorable they are. And they both agree that “As long as it’s Wayo/Pete gender doesn’t matter.”

MingKit and TinCan are just minding their own business and teasing their tsundere boyfriends.

OH MAN THIS GOT BETTER

But both Ae and Pha are a special kind of alpha. So I imagine that even though they’d bond over how cute their boyfriends are, they would actually refuse to believe the other has any equivalent even though on many levels, Pete and Wayo would be matched. (They would actually get along rather nicely even though Wayo is not as sweet as Pete is normally.)

“PETE TAKES ALL HIS CLASSES IN ENGLISH.”

“WAYO CAN PLAY THE PIANO.”

“PETE HAS HIS OWN APARTMENT.”

“WHAT?! YO! WE’RE BUYING YOU AN APARTMENT NOW. I’LL BE DAMNED IF YOU LIVE IN A DORM ANYMORE.”

s-so-sorry in advance…

Arthit and Kongbop are sitting at the next table, unintentionally hearing everything. Arthit chokes on every second bite while blushing furiously.

When they get to the “liking pink milk being cute” part, he smashes his hand on the table, stands up, his hazer side coming to the surface, ordering the crossover group to shut it and have some manners.

Even Pha and Ae jump when they hear his voice, sliding their arms around their boyfriends protectively.

Kong stads up, whispers something in Arthit’s ear that makes the shorter man hide a goofy smile behind his hand.

Kongpob nods at Tin who he knows from a charity ball, and apologizes to the group in his boyfriend’s name.

The crossover group lowers their volume a bit.

When the SOTUS couple leaves the restaurant, they see Arthit’s demanding expression and the hearteyes Kong gives him.

“Do you know them?” Can asks Tin loudly.

“Yeah” Tin answers hesitantly. “They’ve been together for five years now.”

The group releases a united “Woah” and has a moment of silence before going back to their original conversations.

Everyone has a new definition for the words “tsundere” and “helpless” in their minds.

AHAHAHAHA

WE ARE DOING THIS WE ARE MAKING THE ULTIMATE CROSSOVER OF BL DRAMAS RIGHT HERE. WE ARE MAKING THIS HAPPEN.
