florbexter:

So I guess this turned into more of a Jealous! Can moment than anything else and the prompt gives more of a pre-relationship vibe but I’m on my established relationship wave atm so you have to bear with me and forgive me 🙂 Nevertheless I hope you enjoy it anon ❤

TinCan Ficlet

There had been a lack of kissing the last couple of days. Can was no one to count but he kind of did. Since he discovered the joy of kissing he had made sure to met his daily make-out quota with Tin, mostly because he felt like floating on cloud nine afterwards. His whole body hummend and he felt energized and alert in a whole different way than before. But for four days in a row their schedule hadn’t matched as it had before and Can felt that.

Did he miss other aspects of Tin? Sure. But their kisses made him feel connected to Tin in a way he couldn’t explain. The moment their lips met his mind was like ‘Oh yes, good, this is it.’.

He sighed and pushed his stuff inside his bag. Whatever the lecture had been about he had no idea. He had played with his phone the whole time, but no message from Tin about meeting for lunch or suggesting they drive home together later. He had the urge to repeat his jealousy call but this time ranting about Tin not fulfilling his part of their relationship. He was responsible for Can’s wellbeing, wasn’t he?

He wasn’t allowed to kiss other people, and he wasn’t allowed to neglect him like this…

“Are… you… going… to… sit… here… forever?”

Can looked up to Good with a pout.

“Ai Good!!” Can let himself fall against Good. “Life is so unfair!”

“Oh…” Good patted him on the head like he was a sad puppy and Can sighed again. Tin did the same when he whined. It was mostly followed by a full-body hug. Can missed them, too.

“It’s not the same,” he mumbled and stood up.

Good just looked at him in confusion but Can already dragged him out of the lecture hall. He needed something to eat if he wanted to hunt Tin down and demand something silly like his daily dose of mouth-to-mouth action. Even in his head it sounded ridiculous and he was used to his own thought processes.

Nevertheless he found himself in front of the IC building when his last lecture had ended. He swayed back and forth on his heels and suppressed the urge to storm the building by force. Tin was in there somewhere and he better had an explanation why there was no text from him for the last couple of hours.

Tin emerged from the building with his phone in his hand. Busted, Can thought. His feet carried him towards Tin fueled by his indignation.

“Hey,” he said when he arrived in Tin’s space and was derailed for a moment because Tin looked up and smiled at him. He even took a step forward so that Can had to raise his head to look up at him. Assholes who ignored their boyfriends didn’t smile when confronted, right?

Can eyes fell to Tin’s lips but he shook his head because he was angry!

“Hey… you have some free time?”

“Free time my ass,” Can said and waved his finger in front of Tin’s face. “You know exactly when I have time for a lunch break and when my lectures are over! I already told you that you’re not allowed to be with someone else, while you’re with me. Who is it? Did you have lunch with Ai Pete? No, Ae already told me he would meet him today, so! Confess!”

Tin had been silent the whole time and while Can huffed because he had spoke himself in a bit of an adrenaline rush Tin just raised an eyebrow.

Oh, something in Can said. The eyebrow. It was a sign that Tin was either going to be extra sarcastic or that he was going to say something dirty to Can.

Instead, Tin raised his phone and showed Can the display. It was their chat.

“I know what I wrote you yesterday,” he said and crossed his arms. Tin added a smirk to his raised eyebrow and moved the chat process down with his finger.

“You sent me your schedule, you whined about the heavy workload you’ll have to do and why they would insist on football and cheering practice when everyone is so busy.”

Can blinked and opened his mouth. He closed it a moment later.

He squinted at the file he had sent Tin and yes… it was written there in cold print.

“My schedule changed this week,” he murmured and let his arms fall to his side. “It’s not my fault! You always text me at least five times in the morning! How was I supposed to know that all of a sudden you are concerned of disturbing me?!”

“So you like my good morning texts?”
“This is not what this is about!”
“But you admit that you were jealous of some imaginary person I had lunch with.”

Can stomped his feet.

“Shut up and kiss me already!”, Can yelled. He was as surprised as Tin by his outburst and for a few tense seconds they just stared at each other. Tin was the one who moved first. He put his phone in his pocket and leaned forward. He pressed a kiss to Can’s cheek and Can rolled his eyes.

“You know what I mean,” he murmured against Tin’s ear and put his arms around Tin’s neck to stop him from moving too far away. He felt the smirk against his cheek and sighed in annoyance as Tin just moved slowly from his cheek to his mouth while he showered his skin in soft butterfly kisses.

Tin laid his hand against his neck, and goosebumps broke out over Can’s body. Finally, Tin kissed him. He felt his breath and as always was surprised of how soft Tin’s lips felt and how a kiss could reaffirm everything.

‘Oh yes, good, this is it.’

A TinCan fix-it

For the fantastic @andwebegin

Can sighed softly.  In the months since he’d pushed Tin away, the other young man had never been far from his thoughts.  He didn’t regret it exactly, he hadn’t been ready for what Tin wanted in that moment.  But it didn’t mean that Can didn’t miss Tin.  Yet he knew he’d hurt him badly and was wary about exacerbating that by trying for a friendship when Tin was still so obviously wounded.

He saw him around campus sometimes.  Tin was never rude, he always nodded or raised a hand in greeting.  But each time they passed each other like little more than acquaintances, Can felt like something was wrapped around his heart and squeezing it so tightly that it was difficult to breath.

Desperate for advice, Can sought out the only person in his social circle who was discrete, rational, and even tempered.  He found ChaAim in the library and rushed over to her in such a panic that he tripped over his own feet and slammed his palms down on the library table, shaking it badly and startling all the occupants.

“Can, are you okay?” ChaAim asked.

“ChaAim, do you know him?” One of the other girls asked worriedly.

“We’re friends,” ChaAim reassured her friend.  “Can?”

“I need your advice!” He blurted loudly enough that the few people who had stopped staring turned back to look at him again.

A TinCan friends w/ benefits to relationship fix-it

Inspired by a comment made by @audoldends on my last TinCan drabble.  It’s not exactly a “friends with benefits ft. Pining!Tin fic” but I hope you like it.

Enjoy, @andwebegin

P.S. this is not really edited…

For a while, everything was good.  Really, really good.  Tin was a generous and attentive lover.  He was soft when Can was tired, went harder when Can asked for it and always made sure that Can was fully on board with whatever was happening between them.  They spent most of their time at Tin’s place and though Can tried to make it a point not to linger and wear out his welcome, Tin always had his favorite foods on hand and made sure to feed him before letting him leave.

Things were a little cooler between them in public, but Tin made it a point never to be rude.  He always said hello and made polite chitchat when they were sitting near each other at group gatherings.  They were the perfect example of polite but not overly interested acquaintances.

But one day while they were all sitting in the library, everything changed unexpectedly for Can.  He just happened to glance up from his study material, attention drifting down the table and landing on Tin.  He was sitting across from Pete, their heads bent over a textbook.  Pete made a comment, too quiet for Can to catch, but whatever it was it amused Tin.  He pressed his lips together, but a short laugh escaped anyway and a smile spread across his face.  Can felt something in that moment and it wasn’t until later that he realized what it was.

Jealously.

Monster hunters

A plot bunny that got WAY to out of control while I was in the shower. (Sorry for the weird formatting I’m on mobile)

• The sports science boys are monster hunters

• One day they’re summoned to a nearby town for a job by the nobility there, a prince named Tul Medthanan

• They’re job is to rescue lord Pete who has been kidnapped by a monster living somewhere on the mountain

• They of course accept and agree to send Can, their most well rounded fighter who has both excellent physical skill and enough physic ability to defend from and attack anything magical

• Can leaves with a gaudy ring as a tracking token. A gift from Pete’s dickish fiancé Trump that none of them really like but hey love is blind

• They all leave to see Can off at the gate when they’re stopped by a blacksmith

• He’s short and rough but he introduces himself as Ae, lord Pete’s childhood friend

• (A flimsy lie that even the oblivious Can sees through. The adoration and sick worry in Ae’s voice are too obvious for anyone to miss and Can hangs around enough couples to know what Love looks like)

• He presents a small necklace. It’s beautifully elegant and well made, clearly his own work and asks that if when they find Pete they’ll give it to him.

• Kengkla is their most powerful psychic (who is a better person in this AU) and can instantly see this will be a much better token than that flashy thing Trump gave them

• Can takes it, promises to pass it along, and sets off

• After a while he comes across a decent sized home nestled away so well without Ae’s token he never would’ve found it

• He doesn’t find a monster but he does find two young men

• One is kind and beautiful and Can recognizes Pete from the portraits he’d seen

• The other sends shivers down his spine.

• He’s handsome and carries himself with authority and aloofness that both irritates Can and sets off all sorts of bells he decides to ignore

• They both seem healthy and not at all like hostages

• He presents the necklace and states he’s here to free lord Pete and kill the monster

• Pete instantly says there’s no monster here

• Can is confused but agrees to come inside Where Pete introduces Tin, who acts like Can isn’t even there and basically irritates the hell out of Can

• Pete explains there’s no monsters and neither he nor Tin are captives

• Can makes the jump that Trump is an arranged marriage

• Pete agrees and says he’s there voluntarily

• By then it’s dark and Pete offers Can a place to stay for the night

• Can is worried that the monster will come back but Pete assured him it’s fine

• Early the next morning he wakes up to Tin shuffling around the kitchen making breakfast and they end up cooking together in the most comfortable silence Can as ever felt

• He didn’t know he could feel this calm around anyone

• Can ends up staying for days and spending more and more time with Tin

• Tin, who Can discovers is kind and gentle and so very soft under that layer of ice

• One day after about a week Can asks why Tin is there

• Tin tell him a story

• A story of a prince who was born with powers no one around him understood or tried to understand

• The prince was sent away under the guise of furthering his education but really he was meant to die alone in the mountains

• But the prince survived and did in fact learn

• He learned how to control his powers and made a small life for himself

• One day he decided to sneak back into his old home where he discovered his childhood friend was in an abusive arranged engagement to a ambitious noble

• The prince was furious and took his friend away using his powers

• His brother, who now lead their town and who had originally arranged for the young prince to die, put out word that a monster had taken his friend to try and get bounty hunters to come kill the prince and return his friend to be used as a political pawn

• Many tried and all failed until a young monster hunter found the prince and his friend because he’d trusted his friend’s real lover instead of the nobility

• Can stares in awe after the story is done

• He sees Tim’s vulnerable and scared face as he glances from Can to the floor waiting

• Tin is the supposed monster Can had been sent to kill

• Can knows what he was hired to do but now

• He grabs his sword and watches Tin’s (beautiful, beautiful, how could anyone hurt him?) face crumple and turn away not even defending himself from the blow he was expecting

• Can instead turns and hurls his sword out the open window

• He turns around and Tin is staring at him in shock

• Can drops to his knees in front of Tin and cups his face in his hands

• “I’ll fight them all for you. Anyone who ever hurt you, I’ll fight them,” he says

• Tin’s tears finally fall and Can starts to panic but Tin assures him he’s happy

• Can doesn’t need to fight anyone as long as Can believes him that’s enough
