This the hardest nigga I ever seen this is true big dick energy
God got him
Wow
Found this short documentary from 2014 about him and his forest:
Soil erosion is still a problem but the authorities do not appear to be listening to Jadav’s suggestions on combating the issue, according to the programme. He would like to plant coconut trees because they grow extremely straight and help prevent erosion if planted densely enough. The fruit could also be sold for economic gain.
The man turned that barren land into a whole fucking forest by hand for them. Yet they show no interest in investing in its upkeep nor the desire for financial gain via the coconut industry. I just…🙄
I think that’s Can’s superpower against Tin. Shhhh, we must not let Tin know about it. 🙈🙈 I just re-watched LBC recently, and seeing the change in Tin before and after he falls for Can is really jarring, especially when you watch all 13 episodes together. That dude really has the magic powers to turn Tin from this obnoxious arrogant jerk to this soft shy fool in love.
@help-i-need-a-decent-username @andwebegin (This will be a bit of a continuation from this last post here because @help-i-need-a-decent-username wanted to know how Can handles Tin)
Can pulled Tin as far as the taller boy would allow, which was surprisingly far. Can even managed to get his bag from the locker room before pulling Tin all the way to his car.
They sat in silence in on the way to Can’s home. Can could see the clenching of Tin’s jaw and his glare directed at the road. His knuckles were white from gripping the steering wheel. Tin was far more upset about being interrupted than Can had expected.
Taking a deep breath, Can prepared himself. Desperate times called for desperate measures and this was one. It was time to use Tin’s weakness.
“Na, Ai Tin, please don’t be upset,” Can said while tugging gently on Tin’s sleeve. As Tin pulled to a stop at a red light, Can pulled himself up and pressed a gentle kiss onto Tin’s cheek. The muscles twitched. Barely. But it was enough. It was working. “Ai Tiiiiin.” Another kiss, this one on the cheekbone. “You’re still upset? Your Cantaloupe will make it up to you.” The third kiss was at the join between jaw and neck. “I promise…” The fourth kiss was against Tin’s neck where Can could feel Tin’s pulse slow.
Tin finally rolled his eyes, and like magic, all the tension in his body melted away. “I’m not mad.”
“I didn’t say mad. I said upset. You don’t want to have to defend yourself, I know.” Another kiss, but this time a peck on the lips just as the light changed.
Tin’s lips almost jutted out in a pout, but he continued driving. “You know too much.”
“I know just enough thank you,” Can said as he sat back in his seat. “Now food please.”
Tin raised an eyebrow without looking at Can. “You just played me, didn’t you?”
Can widened his eyes before they narrowed with his charming smile. “Me? Play you? In what world, Ai Tin?”
“I know what you did. How you calmed me down.”
“Why Ai Tin!” Can stared at Tin as if he was scandalized. “I would never use my charms to soften your emotions!”
“And yet you are continuing to do so.”
“I am not!” Can objected. “I only smiled at you.”
“You know how weak I am to that. And your kiss.”
“But you fall for it every time. So who’s at fault here?”
I’ve to admit that I didn’t really have much to add when I wrote this. Hmmm, If I’ve to though, I would say that it’s by complete accident. Tin goes with Pete to one of Ae and Can’s soccer matches with a neighboring university team so that they can cheer their boyfriends on. Of course, Ae and Can’s team wins the match.
After that, Tin decides to gift Can with a soft kiss behind the bleachers. And it’s only because Ae is thinking the same thing (snogging his boyfriend senseless since he’s still high from the win) that he drags Pete towards the same location and bumps into the couple. And what surprises him even more is that Pete is smiling knowingly at the couple while he is still trying to process the fact that his friend is kissing his number one’s enemy. What the hell?!
“So Ai Albino Monkey, you didn’t do too bad out there.”
Can puts a cocky grin on his face as they stand behind the bleachers. “Oi IC Program, you shouldn’t doubt my skills! And if you’d bother to come to more of my games, you’d know better about when to yell.”
Tin chuckles and noses along Can’s neck which never fails to make the shorter boy’s breath hitch. Tin breathes in deep, smelling grass and sweat, a tolerable combination if it’s coming from Can’s skin. “Well… If you’re going to be like that… Maybe I won’t give you your reward for doing so well.”
“A-A reward!?!” Tin can imagine Can’s face lighting up immediately. He doesn’t need to look.
“Mmm… Like this…” Tin tilts Can’s chin up and kisses him softly, gently nibbling at his lips. Can shivers in Tin’s arms and moans softly in reply.
“Ae… Where are we going?”
“You said you’d- WHAT THE HELL?!”
Tin and Can break apart, flustered and wild eyed to find Ae dragging Pete behind him, a blush on Pete’s face and a glare on Ae’s.
“Find your own damn spot,” Tin growls.
“Oi, first get your hands off of my friend.”
“He likes it here, don’t you Can?” Tin shoots a snide look at Ae while pulling Can closer. Can looks as if he wishes everything would combust right now.
“Ae, let’s leave them alone,” Pete says while trying to drag Ae away. But Ae doesn’t budge.
“Not until I get some answers. When the hell did this happen?”
Can and Pete look each other in the eyes and nod at each other.
“TIN I’M REALLY HUNGRY LET’S GO EAT LIKE RIGHT NOW!” Can breaks Tin’s hold and drags him off instead before the situation escalates further. Ae shouts after them but quiets immediately which means Pete has done his job.
characters hugging each other after one or both of them have been through hell
character cradling their significant other’s face while they kiss
character says something hurtful. later on in the movie they are in a similar situation and say something kind instead.
self sacrifice
griefstricken women (who under normal circumstances wouldn’t hurt a fly) lashing out and striking the person responsible for the loss of their loved one
ugly crying
characters struggling to talk because they’re about to cry
characters reuniting with someone whom they thought were dead
“You ruin your life by desensitizing yourself. We are all afraid to say too much, to feel too deeply, to let people know what they mean to us. Caring is not synonymous with crazy. Expressing to someone how special they are to you will make you vulnerable. There is no denying that. However, that is nothing to be ashamed of. There is something breathtakingly beautiful in the moments of smaller magic that occur when you strip down and are honest with those who are important to you. Let that girl know that she inspires you. Tell your mother you love her in front of your friends. Express, express, express. Open yourself up, do not harden yourself to the world, and be bold in who, and how you love. There is courage in that.”
It blows my mind that anyone dislikes AO3. I feel so incredibly lucky to have this massive library of fanfiction, featuring every ship I’ve ever wanted (down to the rarest and crackiest of pairs), and the most sophisticated search and filtering system we’ve literally ever had. And it’s both free and free of ads? And it’s backed by an entire organization dedicated to protecting and preserving fandom? I doubt I’ve ever gone more than a single day without visiting the site since that first time in 2012, so I’ve always seen the fundraising campaigns as a good thing: a way to say thank you for the immeasurable gift AO3 has been.
It never even occurred to me that anyone might feel differently about AO3 until I joined Tumblr. I know I’m a little late for the most recent round of drama, but I wanted to put together a list like this for a while now, and this weekend I finally had the time.
You’ll find meta about why AO3 was started and how it’s run, about the archive’s history and what it was like before the site existed; and, of course, there’s meta about why it’s so crucial that AO3 is inclusive of all kinds of works. If that’s something of interest to you, check out my past rec list on darkfic. Or, try my fanfic appreciation list instead!
Enjoy, and, as always, be sure to let the original posters know you appreciated their work by liking and reblogging. ❤️
Fandom – AO3 History & Positivity
AO3 is for all kinds of fanficby @olderthannetfic, And other fanworks, for that matter, but let’s talk about fic: When AO3 was proposed, it was in response to Strikethrough and other similar events. Livejournal deleted a lot of accounts without bothering to distinguish between actual pedophiles, survivor support groups, and 100% consensual fantasy fandom activities being done by adults with other adults (most of which involved RP accounts for 16-year-old Harry Potter characters anyway). ao3 fundraiser thoughtsby @porcupine-girl, @elfwreck, et al, […] AO3 exists so writers have a place to put their fanfic. A place that won’t spam their readers with ads, won’t cave to the interests of “save the children from the perverts” groups, won’t ban fic and art creators for getting DMCA takedown notices from authors who are offended that someone else has ideas about their characters. (Mirror Link)
AO3 through the yearsby @naryrising, One odd complaint I’ve seen is that “AO3 hasn’t changed”. First, if something is well designed and working, it shouldn’t need to change constantly (does anyone actually like it when Tumblr makes random changes to things? no.)Second, even at a cosmetic level, it’s just… not true? Not unless you haven’t been around very long. (Mirror Link)
Are the AO3 antis actually a threat to our beloved archive?by @astrolat, Short answer: no. Long answer: As far as I could tell (I do have a well-curated dash), the discussion was roughly 1% sincere antis, 4% wankers, and 95% people talking at length about why the antis were wrong or liking those responses. The posts boosted the drive if anything (and made me personally verklempt to read all the lovely posts talking about how much the AO3 has made people happy. :’) (Mirror Link)
Concerning those AO3 postsby @kattahj, Concerning those AO3 posts, you could ask, “Katta, almost all of your stuff is teen rated. You’re basically a gen girl at heart. None of it is wank material and very little is even disturbing. Why do you care what happens to those gross fics?” And the answer would be: BECAUSE almost all my stuff is teen rated, and I’m basically a gen girl at heart, and I STILL had trouble with archives before AO3. I don’t understand how anyone can take AO3 for grantedby @fanfichasruinedmylife, Back in the early 00s, I used to maintain a site called Farscape Fan Fiction Links. It was an offshoot of something I’d started on the Farscape Bulletin Board called “The Church of Fanfiction Appreciation” where I’d begun trying to collect links to Farscape fanfic sites for other people to use. (Mirror Link)
Just saw some AO3 discourse on my dashby @jellybeanforest-a-go-go, Just saw some AO3 discourse on my dash, mostly due to the donation drive, but a lot of people are upset over the fact that AO3 doesn’t moderate content or that people write certain things at all. Yet, many of these anti-AO3 people post in AO3 themselves, and I’ve looked at their archive, and what do they post? A lot of rated-E explicit slash (mostly M/M and some F/F). Which was one of the first things cleansed from FF.net and LJ back when authors had their fics erased without warning because think of the children. (Mirror Link)
just wait until all the ao3 antis find out about librariesby @dsudis, et al, […] This is also why most libraries celebrate Banned Books Week by eagerly higlighting works which people have ATTEMPTED to force to be removed from libraries–including work like Lolita, which is read by many as a titillating pedophile love affair. Librarians are not celebrating Lolita. They are celebrating the principle that they will not be stopped from collecting materials of interest and making them available to readers. (Mirror Link)
an observationby @cupidsbower, […] The current backlash against the OTW I’m seeing all over my dash is completely unsurprising, because we’re at that point in the organisation’s life. There are now fans who weren’t in fandom yet when we made the OTW and AO3, and who have no idea what fandom used to be like. (Mirror Link)
On the AO3 All These Years Laterby @fairestcat, @cesperanza, @olderthannetfic, @astrolat, et al, The tenth anniversary of the OTW and all the AO3 discussion going around this week inspired me to go look at astolat’s original post about creating an An Archive Of Our Own, and found my comment on it. […] Eleven years and rather a lot of volunteer-hours later, I stand by every single word. (Mirror Link)
Why? Why would you do this to me? This just breaks me. 😭😭 Why must you torture me today?! But yes, I agree with you 100 percent!
What Can sees as normal occurrences are total opposites for Tin. And Can’s heart breaks not only for this man who’s standing in front of him but also for the kid who has been neglected and abandoned for so many years by the same group of people who should have cared and loved him.
So he made a promise to himself. No matter what, he will always show his boyfriend that he loves and cares for him. Can might not have wealth and power in abundance but in whatever area he lacks, he makes up for it with attention and tender loving care.
Hello, darling! Please share away! I am always interested in knowing more headcanons from other TinCan lovers. Excellent HC by the way! I can imagine it happening, especially when Can is pissed off by Ae and wants to take revenge (it is rare but do happen once in a while). 😂😂
Also, your HC reminds me of something. Can will never be afraid to be seen around campus with Tin. In fact, he will probably be the one to show his boyfriend off to anyone who makes a mistake of stopping to listen to his ramblings.
“Yes, P’ No, I will be there on time for the soccer match. My boyfriend will come along to support me, did I introduce you to Tin before? He’s the most amazing and bestest boyfriend ever and-” and it will go on and on and on. In fact, by now, Tin is used to being dragged around by Can just to be introduced to his boyfriend’s friends as ‘his darling bae’. Tin doesn’t mind one bit.
